FALL FELLOWSHIP

Our Fall Fellowship will be on Thursday, November 8th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Foyer of the church.   The theme for the evening is "Frugal Living".  This year instead of the lavish dinner, we are making it simple and less expensive.  We will be having a "Finger Food Potluck".  To keep with the theme for the evening let's make it interesting - use the items you have on hand in your frig, pantry and freezer to make your dish.  Don't go to the store and buy something, keep it simple and homemade or even homebaked.

Flyers will be going up in a few weeks with full details.  Mark the date in ink and we will see you there.

Blessings Overflowed at Our Fall Retreat

The Joy Women's Ministry held our first Fall Retreat at Spring Lake Camp and Retreat Center this past weekend.  The theme for the retreat was "Fill my Cup, Lord" with Janie Bono of Baton Rouge, LA as our speaker.  Forty eight women from Hot Springs Baptist Church and churches in Pine Bluff, Benton and Little Rock were in attendance.

A big thank you goes to our hosts, Ted and Verna Ortigo.  Ted was there to help and answer any questions we had and Verna and her kitchen crew were outstanding in their meal preparation.

The Joy Women's Team would like to thank everyone who attended, the retreat would not have been successful without you.
